AFTER ending Sale Star Hotel’s unbeaten start to the Gippsland Premier League tennis season, Bairnsdale will tomorrow return to Sale to take on Sale Heron Todd White.
Bairnsdale enters the match after two strong victories, winning eight of the nine runners against Sale Star Hotel last Saturday as it makes a run for the grand final after a slow start to the season.
Sale Heron Todd White has lost its past three matches, only winning two rubbers in each defeat.
SECOND-placed Maffra will host leader Sale Star Hotel, who is looking to rebound from its first loss.
Maffra was pushed at Traralgon by Loy Yang Power last week and will look to inflict Star Hotel’s second loss of the season ahead of a potential grand final match-up.
THE two Traralgon sides, Win TV and Loy Yang Power, will meet. With just three rounds remaining before the grand final, Win TV will need a victory to keep the pressure on Maffra in second place.
