Christmas Eve racing

FOR those wanting something to do on Monday, Christmas Eve, which doesn’t involve shopping and is entertaining for everyone should drop by Greenwattle Racecourse to see some great country racing and perhaps share a drink with family and friends.

Santa will be making an appearance with something for the children, while they will also get to play in the playground and jumping castle.

Sale Tuf Club has received excellent nominations for this time of year, so the racing will be top class.

Smarty McFly for trainer Darryl Blackshaw, was very unlucky at Bairnsdale and if he gets a run in the 1200 metre open maiden, will go very close to winning.

John Gunning has an excellent record with his horses at Sale and Valpincon, in the fillies and mares maiden, may be his Christmas special.

The first race will be around 1pm and the rail is in the true position.
