BUNDALAGUAH and Maffra will play for the Sale-Maffra one-day cricket title this Sunday.
The match at Bundalaguah will feature the two sides which went through the seven one-day rounds undefeated. Bundalaguah only earned the right to host the final after it finished less than 0.01 of a point ahead of the Eagles on the one-day table.
The one-day match between Bundalaguah and Maffra in round one was washed-out.
While both teams have explosive batting and dangerous bowling attacks, Country Week commitments may have an impact on who plays on Sunday.
Matt Dowsett, Nathan Massey, Mike Jones and Daniel Bedggood have been playing for Sale-Maffra this week as have Maffra’s Brett Lanigan, Josh Rurawhe, Tim Bourke and Nathan Magnuson.
With the addition of tomorrow’s club matches, some of these players could be playing seven days of consecutive cricket.
BUNDALAGUAH and Maffra will also meet in the second grade one-day final at the Cameron Sporting Complex. Sale had finished second on the one-day table but was deducted points for fielding an ineligible player, leaving Maffra to make the final narrowly from Rosedale-Kilmany.
WURRUK will host the third grade final against Heyfield.
