SALE will meet Mid Gippsland in the Eastern Regional State League 17 and under netball semi-finals tomorrow night.
Sale progressed despite a 64-38 loss to Alberton during the final round last week.
Gippsland’s 63-24 loss to Mid Gippsland allowed Sale to remain in the top four.
The win gave Mid Gippsland, who has only lost once this season, the minor premiership on percentage ahead of Alberton.
In the other 17 and under match last week, North Gippsland defeated East Gippsland 56-18.
Alberton will meet North Gippsland in the other semi-final tomorrow night.
Both semi-finals will be played in Churchill from 7pm.
IN the open division, Mid Gippsland Green will play East Gippsland and Gippsland will meet Alberton in the semi-finals tomorrow night from 8.30pm, also in Churchill.
Gippsland moved into second place last week after a 37-34 win over East Gippsland. The win moved Gippsland past Alberton, who had the bye, and East Gippsland.
Mid Gippsland Green defeated North Gippsland 59-36 to complete an unbeaten run through the preliminary rounds, while Churchill defeated Mid Gippsland White 48-37.
