FIFTY-ONE teams battled for the prize money during the 14th Sale Touch Knock-out at Stephenson Park on the weekend.
Only one Sale team took part, but was competitive before being eliminated during the last round.
The men’s and women’s sections were played on Saturday with Synergise winning the women’s A grade final 10-2 against the Latrobe University Imperial Eagles two.
ENUF defeated the Ballarat Dolls 4-3 in extra time to claim the B grade title.
Tune Squad won the men’s A grade final 5-3 against the Maori Saiyanz.
In B grade, Ballarat defeated the Monash University Shredders 6-1.
In the mixed competition on Sunday, the Falcons defeated Mixed Grill in the A grade, while the Monash University team, Pinky and the Brain, defeated Ballarat 6-1 in the social competition final.
The Laurie Smyth Perpetual Award for the player showing true sportsman ship in the mixed social division was won by Rachel Davine from Melbourne.
