Rosedale on top on Anzac Day

ROSEDALE defeated Traralgon-Tyers United 45-42 on Anzac Day to being round three of North Gippsland netball.

Little separated Glengarry and Cowwarr throughout the contest with the Magpies holding sway on their newly-opened netball courts, 40 to 36.

Heyfield continued its promising start to the season with a third straight victory, defeating Boisdale-Briagolong 58-26.

Gormandale proved little competition for reigning premier Churchill, with the Cougars far too strong across the court to win by 22 goals.

Ladder leader Woodside accounted for Sale City 52-16.

STRATFORD lost top spot on the East Gippsland ladder after a thrilling 30-29 loss at home to Lucknow.

In other results, Lindenow defeated Paynesville 47-32 and Lakes Entrance defeated Orbost-Snowy Rovers 41-28.

Wy Yung, which had the bye, moved to the top of the ladder.
