Back into battle

FOR the second match in a row, Sale United will host Traralgon Olympians this Sunday, but this time it will be during the second round of the Battle of Britain Cup.

Before the long weekend break, the sides produced a 0-0 stalemate in round 10 of the Gippsland Soccer League. The knock-out format of the Battle of Britain Cup will ensure that result is not repeated.

In other matches, Fortuna will host local rival Falcons, Monash will head to Churchill and Traralgon City will host Moe United.

Sale United will also play Olympians in the Steel Youth Cup and reserves Shopwell Trophy, while the Swans’ women will head to Churchill in their Browne-Huizer Cup clash.
