Late goal gives Moe victory

A LATE goal robbed Sale United of a share of the points against Moe United.

A Lee Datsey header from a corner in the final minute gave the Red Devils a 2-1 win at home, which saw them replace the Swans in second place on the Gippsland Soccer League ladder.

The Swans began well with Ashley Ross putting them in front during the first half, but before Sam Lietzau levelled the scores early in the second half. Dastey then scored the winning goal for Moe.

Also on Sunday, Josh Tanti scored a hat-trick to help Fortuna defeat Tyers 6-1.

Monash defeated Traralgon City at home 4-1 with all its goals coming in the first half. Ashley Birrell scored two goals.

Newborough-Yallourn United recorded its second win of the season with a 2-1 win over Olympians at Traralgon.

On Saturday night, Churchill United defeated Falcons 3-1 at Morwell.
