TRARALGON-Tyers United made a charge at securing a North Gippsland netball finals berth following its 45-19 victory over Bosidale-Braigolong.

The Bombers moved into the top five at the expense of Rosedale, who lost the grand final rematch against Churchill. The Cougars made light work of the Blues in the slippery conditions, holding strong win by 10 goals.

Cowwarr sealed its fifth win of the season with a comfortable 55-21 victory over Sale City.

Heyfield secured its hold on third position, accounting for fourth-placed Woodside, while, on Sunday, Gormandale enjoyed a 36-goal victory over Glengarry.

IN East Gippsland netball, second-placed Lucknow defeated Orbost-Snowy Rovers 42-24, Lindenow closed the gap to the top four after a 47-39 win over fourth-placed Lakes Entrance, and Wy Yung defeated Paynesville 55-45. Top side Stratford had the bye.
