AN eight-race program has been set down for Wellington Tourism Day at Greenwattle racecourse tomorrow with the first race at 1pm.
The fields are on the small side, but with most top trainers represented, winners look tricky to pick.
Robbie Griffiths has a very handy team engaged and has produced many winners lately. He should continue his good run here.
Mario Farrugia’s consistent galloper Chad is first up in race three and performed well in a recent trial at Sale.
In race five, Sharyn Trolove has God Help Her entered and this mare missed out on a run at Flemington on Tuesday and should be ready for the 1700 metres here.
Half the field for race seven, the 0-58 handicap over 1100m, are locally-trained gallopers and this race should be run at a fast clip with Nereus, Prime Ace, Valuable Star, El Sali and Moss Magic among the locals.
