Redsox beat Rangers

THE Sale Rangers went down to the Traralgon Redsox 8-3, in a Latrobe Valley baseball match that went the full nine innings.

The first four inning were very tight with only two runs scored before the Rangers got the jump scoring, one in the third and fourth.

The Redsox replied with runs in the fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth.

Only three of the Redsox’s eight runs didn’t come from errors.

The Rangers scored their final run in the eighth.

Sale’s best were Will Hector, Kieren Donoghue and Nathan Massey.

In the other A grade match, Moe-Newborough defeated Churchill 7-1.
