WELLINGTON Toy Library members could be facing temporary closure if a new 'home' is not found before its lease ends at the end of next month.

The library's current premises is an Education Department-owned building in Raymond St, which is sub-leased to the toy library by the George Gray Centre.

However, the disability service will soon cease using adjoining classrooms in the building and is giving up its lease at the end of September.

The toy library committee has posted an appeal on Facebook, calling for the community's help.
