NAMBROK, the historic rural estate perched on the hill just east of Rosedale, has hit the property market for a cool $20 million.
The home, currently owned by one of Gippsland's most high profile families, the McGaurans, is also known as the home of Melbourne Cup winner and history-making colt, Patrobas.
The iconic 989 hectare estate is spread across nine titles, and includes a grand mansion, circa 1860.
According to its listing, the property was renovated in 2012, meticulously restoring Nambrok's original features, but also updating its facilities to "a more contemporary feel".
