BOISDALE-BRIAGOLONG is just one win away from ending an 18-year premiership drought, and will be gunning to defeat Lindenow in Saturday's East Gippsland football grand final.

The two stand out teams of the senior competition will go head-to-head in what promises to be a great showcase of local sport. Boisdale-Briagolong will take confidence and freshness into the decider, having defeated Lindenow in the semi-final by 38 points and earning a week's rest a fortnight ago.

The Bombers will be aiming to complete a club trifecta, with their women's team claiming a premiership last month, and the reserves also playing in the grand final.
