LETTER TO THE EDITOR
MY opinion may be unpopular, but I wonder if all the people who opposed controlled forestry burns during the past 10 years (such as a Nowa Nowa resident, as reported in October of last year regarding the DELWP prescribed burns that were stopped because of protests) are wondering how much wildlife was saved now that the bushfires have completely destroyed everything?
Have they reduced CO2 emissions and fought valiantly for climate change?
Or has there been a massive CO2 release due to millions of hectares of wood being burnt because we didn't learn our lesson from the Black Saturday fires a decade ago?
The actions of these climate protesters in stopping logical prescribed burns would be laughable if they weren't so dangerous to society.
