MAFFRA defeated Traralgon by two goals during round three of Gippsland League netball.

The Eagles kept the Maroons win-less for the season with their 46-44 victory in Traralgon on Saturday.

Maffra was served well by Abbie Ross, Brodie Brunt and Emma Allman, while the best players for Traralgon were Amy Harrison, Caitlan Ponton and Rebecca Jennings.

As well as the four points, Maffra coach Sarah Schellen also got bragging rights over former Heyfield teammate Ponton.

WARRAGUL, Moe and Leongatha remain undefeated after three rounds.

Warragul inflicted Sale with 53-23 defeat.

The Gulls were rarely challenged, and kept top spot on the ladder as a result of their win.

Warragul found good contributions from Christie Hillberg and Mia McGarrity. Tori Dessent battled hard for the Magpies.

MOE cruised to an emphatic 79-27 win over Bairnsdale.

Moe led from start to finish, jumping to a 13-goal lead at quarter time which grew as the game went on.

Lions' goal defender Ramayer Gourley was able to enjoy a win on debut as coach after stepping up in the absence of usual coach Peter Moody.

The win sets up a tantalising top-of-the-table clash with Warragul this Sunday.

LEONGATHA and Drouin played out a tight contest, with the Parrots eventually saluted on the day, winning 45-41.

Nicola Marriott best-on-court for the Parrots. Stacie Gardiner shot 28 goals for Drouin and was prominent in the ring.

MORWELL got home by five goals against a persistent Wonthaggi.

The Power made the travelling Tigers work for the points in their 45-40 win, as momentum ebbed and flowed throughout.

With 32 goals for the Tigers, Daisy Hill was best-on-court, while Chelsea Bowman shot 27 goals for the home team.
