Criminal damage in Yarram

YARRAM police are calling for witnesses to 10 instances of criminal damage to vehicles in the town during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police believe six vehicles had both number plates removed, offenders tried to take three other vehicles’ number plates kicked and damaged as well as the boot and bonnet being walked on.

A 10th vehicle had a blanket and bottle of tequila removed from the rear seat through an open window.

The offences took place between 1am and 5am Sunday morning in Duke St, Bland St and the rear car park of the Commercial Hotel, Commercial Rd, Yarram.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage.
