It pains me that in today’s society we still have intolerance to all peoples’ rights.
Peoples’ right to get married, start a family and be happy.
Does it matter if that is between man and woman or man and man or woman and woman?
As long as it is a loving relationship, who cares?
Let me ask those who are against same sex marriage, would you deny a son or daughter their right to marry?
Would you discard them so quickly?
Let’s have more compassion and don’t be so blind and ignorant.
A thought I found on compassion by the Dali Lama:
“Genuine compassion is based not on our own projections and expectations, but rather on the rights of the other: irrespective of who the person is, as long as that person wishes for peace and happiness and wishes to overcome suffering, then on that basis we develop a genuine concern for his or her problems. This is genuine compassion.”
Lastly to all those people with homophobia shame on you.
