I AM distressed to hear that the Bundalaguah Hall has been closed.
I was involved in organising a family dance at the hall that was successful and raised money for the local SES.
I had plans for holding some more dances there as the venue was very suitable.
The hall is centrally located and there is plenty of parking space in the grounds.
One of the main attractions for the dancers was the good condition of the floor and there were many favourable comments made about it.
Unlike some country halls, this hall has a stage that is well placed for bands to perform.
The kitchen facilities and supper room enabled us to serve supper to a grateful crowd who thoroughly enjoyed the night.
I urge council to fund the repairs needed to reopen this valuable community hall.
