Coal seam gas and fracking concerns

I RECENTLY returned from northern New South Wales, seeing first hand the total land of regard for land and water in the process of fracking.

Victorian’s should educate themselves on the issue as soon as possible, so another scandal in coal seam gas permits doesn’t happen in Victoria.

Regulations to protect aquifers only come into play once an aquifer has been affected.

This is not regulation, just exploitation of the environment.

Most CSG is being exported, so the myth of cheaper gas is just that.

Allan Jones has the right idea on the issue, “don’t poison our own back yard forever”.
