TWO teams of local tradies will take on the ultimate building challenge next Thursday night, assembling a flatpack cubby house.
The inaugural Bunnings ‘Build a Cubby Challenge’ will test the tradies’ building skills and teamwork, as well as their ability to follow instructions.
The Full Frame Carpentry crew, led by local tradie Kyle Nauta will attempt to build their way to victory against Mayall Box Builders, led by Wayne Mayall.
The build-off will begin next Thursday at 5pm, with the first team to complete its cubby to be crowned the victor.
The winning team will receive a bar made by Sale Men’s Shed and the cubbies will be auctioned to the highest bidder, with proceeds going to charities 123 Youth Enterprise and A Better Life For Foster Kids.
For a $5 donation, men can submit a photo of their man cave, with the best man cave also taking home a bar made by Sale Men’s Shed and the proceeds going to Blue September.
Entrants must provide a before and after photo of their man cave and must include at least one product from Bunnings.
Judging will take place at the Father’s Day Family Fun Night at Bunnings, Sale, next Thursday.
From 6pm till 8pm, there will be a free do it yourself workshop, gift making for dad and light refreshments.
