MAFFRA RSL president Kevin Christensen led the town’s Remembrance Day service.

Crowds gathered at the Maffra Cenotaph for the service to honour the fallen.

Wreaths were laid by RSL members, primary school students and others in the community.

Remembrance Day is held on November 11 each year, taking place on the anniversary of the World War 1 armistice.

This year marks 104 years since the armistice.
