PUT your hands up and t-shirts on for Aussie music.
Today is Ausmusic T-Shirt Day, which is an annual day of fun and awareness to celebrate Australian music and raise urgently-needed money for music workers in crisis.
After the last few years of bushfires, pandemic, floods and now a high cost of living, the music industry needs help more than ever before.
Harry Hook, who makes music under the name Harry Hook is Real, is pictured wearing a Small Town Alien t-shirt. Small Town Alien is Harry’s brother, Jack Hookey, from Cowwarr and drummer, Jessie Kidd’s, band from Lakes Entrance.
ABC Gippsland radio presenter Mim Hook wears a t-shirt from the Groundswell music festival at the Lake Tyers Pub.
