Maffra and Sale thefts

MAFFRA police are appealing for information following a burglary from a residence at the eastern end of Johnson St, Maffra.

According to police, the burglary took place between November 20 and November 22, with about $2500 worth jewellery stolen from a front bedroom of the house, including a locket-necklace, broach, and a pendant and a pale green jade necklace.

The house was locked. Anyone with information is urged to phone Maffra police 5147 1026.

SALE police are calling for witnesses to come forward following the theft of a white Nissan Patrol utility at the weekend.

Police believe the vehicle was stolen from the corner of Raglan and Patten Sts, some time between Friday night and Sunday morning, with the theft of a number of other items also occurring in the area.
