BRANCHES from a tree hacked by vandals early Sunday morning in Sale later fell across power lines, causing power disruption.
Three males hacking into the tree on the nature strip of Guthridge Parade outside the Sale Botanic Gardens children’s playground early Sunday morning fled when approached by police.
Later on Sunday branches from the tree fell across the power lines.
Police have asked witnesses or those with information to phone 5142 2200 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 33 000.
