A LEARNER driver and his passenger have been bailed to appear at Sale Magistrates Court after being found with cannabis, ecstasy and cocaine in Buckley St, Sale on Saturday morning.
About 2.20am, Sale police intercepted a silver Ford sedan driven by a learner driver, without a qualified driver.
While being spoken to for the driving offences, police searched the vehicle after detecting a smell of cannabis and located cannabis and an ecstasy tablet on the driver.
The other occupant of the vehicle was also searched and found to be in possession of cocaine.
Both males were arrested and taken to the Sale police station.
A full search of the passenger was conducted at the Sale police station where a traffickable amount of ecstasy tablets was located.
The offenders, both 20, are facing drug and driving related charges.
