Yarram police kept busy

YARRAM police have been kept busy with a spate of incidents in the past few days.

Two Yarram men will face court after an alleged aggravated burglary, where a house was stormed and its occupants, a 57-year-old male and 18-year-old female, were assaulted.

A 30-year-old Yarram man was arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a 53-year-old Yarram woman on Tuesday night, at a residential property in Yarram.

A 44-year-old woman was charged with theft and possession of ice on Monday, and a 38-year-old man from North Melbourne was charged after an alleged series of burglaries in Port Albert on Sunday.

Police recovered several small items, bottles of alcohol and a computer, and are asking for owners to phone Yarram police.

A Commercial Rd car wash was broken into between Friday evening and Saturday morning, with machines broken and coin trays stolen.
