Local ambo responses better than average

AMBULANCE response times are improving in Wellington Shire, with Sale’s times below the state average for populations more than 7500.

Compared with the same time last year, almost 10 per cent more code one incidents were responded to within 15 minutes, and the average response time had dropped from 18.18 to 17.43.

In Sale, where ambulance officers are in a temporary location on Patten St as the new station is being built, 84.6 per cent of code one incidents were responded to within 15 minutes last year in January to March, compared to 88.1 per cent for the same time this year.
