Around the maypole

ABOUT 1000 people took to Sale ‘545’ Primary School’s grounds for its annual fundraising garden party last Thursday evening, with students, teachers and parents enjoying the festivities, stalls and the school’s signature maypole dancing.

Despite being rescheduled because of adverse weather, the event raised a staggering $15,000 for school resources, such as facility upgrades, student and teacher needs and technology initiatives.

The Sale Primary School Parents and Friends Association thanked all who had made the garden party such an overwhelming success, and looked forward to seeing the community response come to fruition in the school grounds.
