Charges following Lucknow armed robbery

DETECTIVES from the East Gippsland Crime Investigation Unit have charged a teenager following an alleged attempted armed robbery in Lucknow last month.

The 17-year-old Bairnsdale teen has been charged with one count of attempted armed robbery and assault with a weapon following the incident that occurred at a service station on Princes Highway on March 22 about 1.20am.

The teen was bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
