More than 30 people protested against mandatory vaccination near The Wedge, Sale, on Friday morning.

The group wore white shirts with #ReclaimTheLine on the front and their professions and years of service on the back.

Most protesters were from the education industry, with business people and builders also taking part.

The protesters were socially distanced, and police kept a watchful eye to ensure they were following COVID guidelines.

“We are not anti-vaccine – we are anti-vaccine mandate,” one protester said.

The protest was part of a national strike organised by National Education United, a newly-created alliance of teachers and workers from multiple industries.
