Police Beat: Seizures and lost tools

Cannabis and guns located at Wurruk property

ON February 10 at 8.40am, members from the Sale Police Station executed a drugs and firearms search warrant on an address in Wurruk.

Upon entry to the premise, police said they located:

  • Four containers that contain what is believed to be dried cannabis material;
  • One unregistered .22 lever-action rifle;
  • One unregistered .177 pellet gun;
  • Three boxes containing .22 ammunition, and;
  • One box containing .177 ammunition.

Police said they also searched the large shed located on the property and found:

  • A shipping container housing a grow-house set-up;
  • What is believed to be cannabis plants (quantity of eight);
  • What is believed to be dried cannabis product, totalling 1146.90 grams;
  • Four transformers, and;
  • Nine globes for growing plants.

 

Have you lost some tools?

POLICE are currently seeking the owner of a small bag of tools, that was located in the middle of Cobains Road, Sale on February 9, and handed into Sale Police Station.

Police believe that it may have fallen from the back of a ute.
