SALE’S Bond Street Event Centre is soon to host a photography exhibition by renowned local artist Lotje McDonald: A Glimpse of Gippsland’s Natural Beauty.
Lotje is a sports, landscape and bird photographer based in Longford. The natural beauty and vast landscapes of Australia have inspired Lotje since arriving from The Netherlands 30 years ago.
Recently, Lotje received the 2023 Australia Day Photography Award at the 46th Leongatha Art & Photography Show for her image Dancing Trees.
Lotje’s images are diverse and captivating, mostly taken in the Gippsland area and range from landscapes, aerials, fauna and abstract.
This exhibition will open on Sunday, April 2, with artworks viewable from 1pm to 4pm.
Speeches begin promptly at 1.30pm.
Entry is $15, or pay what you can.
Light refreshments will be provided and artworks for sale.
The exhibition will be shown at Bond Street Event Centre until April 23.
