THOSE wanting a little bit of theatre in their Mother’s Day are being invited to The Wedge this weekend to see The Great Gerschwins.

Narrated and compered by the ever-popular Chris McKenna, this production will highlight many of the great hits and story behind probably the world’s most successful composing brothers, George and Ira Gershwin.

Starring in this production will be concert pianist virtuoso William Schmidt, who wowed audiences in Promac Productions’ I Love Paris last year. William will play many of the great Gershwin classics on the John Leslie Theatre’s beautiful grand piano.

Joining William will be international soprano Alison Jones who, along with William, will sing some of the absolute hits of these two amazing composers.

The Great Gerschwins will be showing at The Wedge this Sunday, May 14 at 2pm.
