Heyfield Police say they were patrolling the local residential streets at about 2.30am on January 20, when a Holden Colorado came into town and turned onto Mary Street at a fast rate of speed.

 

Police pulled into a position to check its speed on the radar as it turned off onto Weir Road. The radar confirmed the vehicle was travelling at 111kmph past the residential houses in the 60 km/h sign-posted zone.

 

This was 51 km/h over the speed limit. The vehicle was intercepted due to the high speed and the Colorado was impounded for a period of 30 days at a cost of $995, the driver is to be summonsed to court at a later date for various offences.

 

Vehicle in Sale allegedly fails to stop

 

On Monday, January 15 at around 5.48pm, police say they observed a white Holden Commodore sedan travelling north on McIntosh Drive, Sale at a fast rate of speed.

 

Police attempted to intercept the vehicle, yet the vehicle failed to stop and continued driving in an erratic manner.

 

There appeared to be only the driver in the vehicle at the time with no other passengers. The vehicle was last sighted by one person travelling northbound on Market Street, Sale.

Adam is missing

 

The 59-year-old (pictured below) was last seen at 12.40pm on Monday, January 22, 2024 on Rosedale-Longford Road, Rosedale.

 

Adam was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, Melbourne storm polo with a red bag also observed with a large stick.

 

Anyone who sights Adam or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Sale Police Station on 5142 2200.

 

Tyres slashed at The Honeysuckles

 

Police are investigating an incident where several vehicles have had tyres slashed at The Honeysuckles.

 

This incident occurred on December 29, 2023 around 1am.

Can you identify this trailer?

 

Between 2am and 3am on December 31, 2023, it is alleged three unknown persons attended Rosedale Cemetery in a black Ford Territory towing a galvanized single axel tilt tray trailer onto the property.

 

The persons are believed to have gained access to the shed and stolen a yellow Hustler Raptor XD 0-turn ride-on lawn mower valued at $10,000.
