Services Australia coming to Wellington

WELLINGTON Shire residents have the opportunity to speak directly with staff from Services Australia when the Mobile Service Centre (MSC) visits several locations across Gippsland.

Federal Member for Gippsland, Darren Chester has encouraged locals to take the opportunity to visit the MSC to speak with staff regarding Centrelink and Medicare payments and services.

“The MSC provides information, help and support to all members of rural and regional communities, from individuals to families, job seekers to self-employed people and everything in between,” Mr Chester said.

The MSC provides disabled access and will be located at:

– Loch Sport, near the supermarket, Lake Street (March 4, 9.30am to 3.30pm);

– Seaspray, opposite the post office, Foreshore Road (March 5, 9.30am to 4pm);

– Heyfield, near the community resource centre, George Street (March 6, 9am to 4pm), and;

– Rosedale, adjacent to the neighbourhood house, Cansick Street (March 7, 9am to 3pm).

Information about the Department of Veterans’ Affairs programs and support services for veterans and their families will also be available.
