Once again, the West Sale Airport will host the ANZAC Weekend Airshow on April 27 and 28.

Building on the resounding success of the inaugural ANZAC Weekend Airshow, the 2024 event promises to be even more impressive, featuring awe-inspiring aircraft displays, thrilling aerobatic demonstrations, and a celebration of aviation history.

Organisers say the 2024 ANZAC Weekend Airshow is set to be a feast for aviation enthusiasts, offering an up-close and personal experience with an incredible array of aircraft, from RAAF and aerobatic planes to commercial and recreational flying machines. Event organisers say the event will recreate the magic of flight with stunning displays, showcasing wings of all shapes and sizes.

“We are thrilled to bring back the ANZAC Weekend Airshow to The Middle of Everywhere,
and build on the success of the 2022 event. We are planning for an even bigger event this
time around, with hopes to be known as the best ‘little’ airshow in Australia,” said Event
Director, Nicholas Heath.

In addition to the aerial displays, the event will feature a line-up of activities for
attendees of all ages. More action will be happening on the ground this year, with
Matt Mingay and the Hot Wheels Stunt Team putting on a show-stopping performance.

The  stunt team travel to major events across the country and are known for their shows full of precision driving and stunts with unique performance vehicles and motorbikes. The Hot Wheels Truck will also be on display at the event with kids’ activities including play tables, video games and colouring stations.

“We’ve expanded this year’s event a considerable amount, with a real focus on delivering
attractions that the whole family can come down and enjoy,” Mr Heath said.

Guests can also explore displays of cars and motorbikes, enjoy live music, and savour local
produce from the Gippsland region.

Tickets are available online or at the gate.
