A driver has had his license suspended and car impounded after recording an alcohol limit four times the legal limit.
On Sunday afternoon (August 18), Sale uniform police members and members from the Wellington Highway Patrol were conducting preliminary breath testing site duties on Foster St, Sale.
At the testing site, police say they have detected a 32-year old male driver from Wurruk driving with an alleged alcohol limit almost four times the legal limit of .05.
The driver will be charged on summons and his licence was immediately suspended, his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

So, here are the rules:
You can only collect firewood from designated collection areas in state forests during the autumn and spring domestic firewood collection seasons.
You can collect wood from trees and branches that are already on the ground, are further than 20 metres from a waterway or waterhole, are not visibly hollow, and do not have moss or fungi growing on them.
When collecting, you can use small equipment, like a chainsaw, axe, or handsaw.
You can collect two cubic metres of firewood per person per day.

Man charged with arson and evading police in Traralgon
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a pursuit in Traralgon on Sunday, August 18.
A vehicle was seen allegedly driving erratically before stop sticks were successfully deployed on Shakespeare St about 9.20am.
It is alleged the car failed to stop and the pursuit was terminated before the car drove towards Traralgon’s CBD. The driver dumped the car in the intersection of Franklin and Hotham Sts and he was arrested nearby about 9.45am.
No one was injured during the incident.
The Traralgon man was also charged with allegedly setting a vehicle on fire outside a Gabo Way address in Traralgon about 6.45am yesterday.
The 33-year-old man charged with dangerous driving whilst being pursued, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, arson and various driving offences. He was remanded in custody to appear in Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
