The Maffra Recreation Reserve hosts the Maffra Football-Netball Club and recently staged week one of the Gippsland League finals. It also houses the Maffra Municipal Band, stages the Maffra Agricultural Show, and provides facilities for the Sale-Maffra & District Kennel Club.
