Tennis titles determined

THE Wellington Gippsland Tennis Association Championships were completed on Sunday.

A field of 80 junior and senior players, well up on 2017, turned out in ideal conditions at Sale Tennis Club.

One of the highlights of the day was Zara Flynn grabbing two honour board events, the women’s open singles and the 18 and under girls’ singles.

Other highlights were Mitch Allman winning the men’s open singles, and Charlie Harrison claiming the remaining honour board event, the 18 and under boys’ singles.

Georgia Roberts had a great day, winning the three events she contested, the 14 and under girls’ singles, 14 and under girls’ doubles with April Burton and the women’s open doubles with Masami Goold.

Darcy Cumming won the 12 and under boys’ singles and doubles and the 14 and under boys’ singles, while Dylan Board won the 10 and under boys’ singles and doubles.
