Bringing home the Bendigo gold

SALE Fire Brigade won the B grade aggregate at the state urban senior championships, held at Bendigo over the Labour Day long weekend.

Sale competed in 12 events over the three-day competition.

Forty-nine teams competed in A, B and C sections, with teams travelling from Western Australia.

Sale won the B grade aggregate with 58 points, 19 more than second-placed Patterson River, with Geelong West third on 32.

Sale won the hose and reel sixes, and hose and ladder eights, came second in the five-competitor pumper and ladder, hose and reel eights, and two-competitor Y coupling, and third in the two-competitor marshall and four-competitor coupling.
