Cougars draw with top side

CHURCHILL provided the first blemish on Rosedale unbeaten North Gippsland netball season, drawing with the ladder leader 35-35.

The Blues remain 14 points ahead of the Cougars, with the gap to Cowwarr in third recuded to two. Cowwarr won at Glengarry 58-40.

Sale City defeated Woodside 63-44. The win at Stephenson Park keeps the Bulldogs in fourth place.

Fifth-placed Traralgon-Tyers United defeated Yarram 51-46 at home, while Heyfield defeated Gormandale 56-39 at home.

IN East Gippsland netball, Stratford won at Lakes Entrance 46-45.

The Swans are now eight points behind the fourth-placed Seagulls.

Boisdale-Briagolong lost at home to Orbost-Snowy Rovers 47-38. The result put the Blues only four points outside the top four.

Top side Wy Yung defeated bottom side Paynesville 66-27, and second-placed Lucknow defeated third-placed Lindenow 49-47.
