Grammar’s golden rowers

GIPPSLAND Grammar secured six titles at the state rowing  championships, as well as five silver medals and two bronze.

Year 12 student Lachlan Wilmot led the charge, bringing home two individual gold medals and three other gold medals competing in quad events.

Gippsland Grammar was the most successful school at the event and place fifth on the overall medal table.

Gippsland Grammar rowing director Nick Bartlett said the squad was tracking well for more good results at the Head of School Girls regatta in a fortnight’s time, and the national championships in Sydney next month.
