The win moves the Demons in four place on the ladder, ahead of Glengarry, while the Blues’s lead on the ladder has been cut to eight points.
Second-placed Woodside defeated Churchill 40-34, while third-placed Sale City defeated Glengarry 44-42.
Heyfield was too strong for Gormandale, winning 50-33, while Cowwarr defeated Traralgon-Tyers United 43-33.
