Stratford Football-Netball Club will celebrate the 20 year reunion of the 2002 Riviera Football League premiership tomorrow. A reception and luncheon will be held in the Stratford social rooms starting at 1pm, then the players will watch the Swans of today take on rivals Boisdale-Briagolong.

Scott Wilkinson (Wilko) has arranged past players, and is expecting a huge turnout.

The club rebounded after a disappointing 2001 season to recruit new playing-coach Mick Clapton, and recruited well to turn the club into a powerhouse that won the first and only back-to-back premierships in the club’s history.

Premiership players include: Matthew Johnson, Trent Stothers, Matthew Fleming Scott Wilkinson, Scott Scicluna, Luke Nichols, Simon Williams, Mick Cook, Mark Kennedy, Jamie Templeton, Mark Nichols, Daniel Bartlet, Michael Clapton, Rowan Marsden, Adrian Crozier, Brett Cooke, Brett Johnson, Gavin Pleatling, Andrew Tatterson, Michael Pattinson, Stephen Knight, Keith Ferguson and Karl Turner.
