SALE Cricket Club did something a bit different for the last training session of 2022.

The Swans held a community and family event, taking a break from usual net practise.

A good turnout saw a host of games played, with Sale Cricket Club players engaging in activities with youngsters.

The generosity of spirit would have no doubt been appreciated by the community groups involved.

Sale goes into the Christmas break sitting third on the Sale-Maffra Cricket Association first-grade ladder.

Although it is only halfway through the season, the Swans are being viewed as a dark horse for the premiership.

In the eyes of most SMCA pundits, the race to this season’s title is between Collegians, Stratford and Sale.
