Sale Sonics’ Tayli Dimarco has been selected as part of the Victorian Under 18 Country Women’s team for the 2023 National Championships after a stellar performance at last week’s Australian Country Cup in Albury.
Dimarco led a good performance for the Vic Country Goldminers side in last week’s Australian Country Cup, which acts as a selection tournament for the Victorian Country state team.
Despite a tough start to the week, losing multiple players to injury throughout the campaign, Vic Country Goldminers prevailed to win the final against Vic Country Bushrangers, in which Dimarco totalled 12 points.
After a stand-out performance in Albury, Basketball Victoria announced on Tuesday, (January 24), that Dimarco had been selected as part of the Victorian Under 18 Country Women’s team for the 2023 National Championships to be played later this year.
