Stratford is hosting a Gippsland Cricket League senior men’s match on Sunday.

Sale-Maffra will welcome Warragul District for the Round 3 clash.

The visitors are coming off a strong win against Bairnsdale, and will be eager to upstage the Sharks, who are two from two in representative action so far.

Bairnsdale hosts Latrobe Valley in the other match at Lucknow.

In other grades, the SMCA Under 18s travel to Leongatha Recreation Reserve, while the women face new kids on the block, Latrobe Valley at Apex Park, Traralgon.

The Junior Development League began last Sunday, and saw Sale-Maffra claim victory over Leongatha.

Taking to Leongatha Secondary College, the Sharks made 8/158 batting first.

Those to get among the runs included Miles Massey, who made an unbeaten 31, and Charlie Young (24).

Leongatha fell well short of the required total, and were bundled out for 113.

Jack Morris hit good areas and took 2/7, as did Flynn Mahony who ended with 2/13.
