Stratford travels to Lindenow tomorrow for Round 3 of East Gippsland netball

SALE might meet their match when they play Wonthaggi at home tomorrow in Gippsland League netball.

The Power, despite facing tough opponents in Warragul and Morwell, has shown their mettle by giving Leongatha a taste of what they’re made of so far this season.

Expect the Power to be ready to take advantage of a younger and inexperienced Sale side in Round 4 tomorrow.

Bairnsdale is one of the Gippsland League’s highest flyers at present, and with Paris Dunkley leading the charge, Maffra might be a little worried about travelling down the highway.

The Redlegs on the other hand, coming straight off a bye and a win against Morwell the previous week, will be on top of the world.

The Eagles attack will be working double time with Bairnsdale’s superstar defender Alison Dwyer looking like a real threat.

In other games, Morwell will welcome Drouin in what might be the most equally matched game of the round. Reigning premier Moe should have no problem against Leongatha, and Traralgon will welcome Warragul for a match under lights.

IN North Gippsland, Woodside should be able to register their first win for the season when they play Yallourn Yallourn North at George Bates Reserve.

Sale City will welcome a Rosedale side trying to find their footing in season 2024. The Bulldogs are the team to beat so far, knocking down Woodside last round.

Glengarry will take on a high flying TTU outfit in Tyers.

In a Qualifying Final rematch, Heyfield and Churchill will do battle at Gordon Street Reserve. This match will be one to watch as the Kangaroos have some unfinished business with the Cougars.

Gormandale welcomes Yarram, and Cowwarr has the bye.

STRATFORD will take on Lindenow in East Gippsland action, while Boisdale-Briagolong will host Lucknow.

The Swans lost to the Bombers last round, and will be eager to get back on the winners list.

Skyla Skeen (pictured) and her Stratford club mates hope to return from Lindenow with wins across the grades.
