MAFFRA Gymnastic Club coach Gail Clark has been awarded recreational coach of the year by Gymnastics Victoria.
This is the first year the association has recognised recreational coaches, who are the backbone of many clubs.
Clark has been with the Maffra club for 26 years, and working with the recreational kids was more challenging than the pros.
